    Lhasa is located in the southeastern part of the Tibet Autonomous Region, on the north bank of the Lhasa River, a tributary of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, with a total area of 29,518 square kilometers.

The historical highest temperature is 29.6 degrees Celsius, the lowest temperature is minus 16.5 degrees Celsius, and the annual average temperature is 7.4 degrees Celsius. More than 3000 hours of sunshine throughout the year.

    The annual precipitation is 200-510 mm, concentrated in June-September, and there is nocturnal rain, which is called the rainy season. The solar radiation is strong, the air is thin, the temperature is low, the temperature difference between day and night is large, winter and spring are cold, dry and windy.
